About the Project
During my internship at the Naval Research Laboratory, I contributed to the design of a satellite mission for the Naval Center for Space Technology. This involved working on custom radio electronics prototyping, flight computer board development, CubeSat mission design, simulations, and systems integration.
The experience provided valuable insights into professional aerospace engineering practices, including systems design, hardware prototyping, and the rigorous standards required for space-qualified electronics. I got used to working with the resources in a large organization and experienced some of the aspects of working on government/DoD projects.
